DJ Sledge heads into the sunset
27.01.2011
The time has come for DJ Sledge to head into the proverbial sunset.
For personal reasons he has decided to leave the safe confines of Bushmen Records and to head back into the underground. As per his request his releases will not be available from the Bushmen Records website, or archive.org, anymore but you can still catch him on his Facebook page.
We wish him all the best for his future endeavours and hope one day to team up with him again.
Adeus amigo!

New release: Synth-cat by Tepresto
06.12.2010
Synth-cat is the second joint release on Bushmen Records by a foreign artist from an international netlabel. This release comes from Polish artist Tepresto representing the German netlabel Clear-Cut-Records.
Weighing in at 3 tracks, this album features 3 songs made in 3 different styles. It's got an eery Boards of Canada sort of feel, which is done very well, and makes you think of desolate landscapes where the cats are king and the mice are nowhere to be seen.
Style: Minimal, House, Electronica
New release: Flight of Man by The X-Structure
01.12.2010
The X-Structure have done it! They have released their 10th album, Flight of Man, and this only 2 years after being formed.
This is a great accomplishment for any artist and well deserved for this hard-working and talented band. We would like to congratulate them on this achievement.
Flight of Man is mix between Up-beat drumlines and Down-tempo grooves, with melodies and moods that will make you think of times both happy and sad. It is energetic, it is laidback. It is what it says it is, music to make you fly while staying right where you are.
Style: Trip-hop, Down-tempo, Breakbeat, Electronica
Our first ever event! But not just yet...
18.11.2010
About a month back we mentioned that we were planning on having our first ever live event for the launch of The X-Structure's 10th album release but unfortunately it will not be a live event as planned due to various logistical problems. We still wish to have a live event in the future and maybe the new year will be the right time for it. The X-Structure's 10th album release will still be big for us and we will do all we can make it one of our greatest launches thus far.
Stay tuned for further updates on this milestone album which is due for release on 01 December 2010.
